POOL BARN

This project was the creation of leisure space in an old barn that is adjacent to the owner’s swimming pool. The results are gorgeous, and illustrate what can be done with some design creativity. 

Note the hemp rope that was chosen as a trim against the ceiling beams.   As you can see the beams are old, rough hewn lumber without square edges.  The rope was an inspired choice to trim the gap.  As a working barn there would have been ropes like that throughout.
